Pressure washing in Reno, NV
Our shop sits in south Reno, so most of the valley is a short drive for our crews. We clean homes, storefronts, offices and industrial buildings across the city.
Reno neighborhoods we work in
Reno is not one kind of housing stock, and the cleaning changes with the neighborhood. In the Old Southwest and the Newlands area, the homes are older, the trees are mature, and the work leans toward wood, painted brick, shaded north walls and gutters packed with leaf litter every fall.
West of town in Caughlin Ranch and toward Somersett, houses sit closer to the hillsides and take more wind, more dust and more pine debris on the roof. In the newer south Reno developments around Damonte Ranch and the South Meadows, the story is stucco, HOA standards and fine alkali dust blowing in off open ground and construction.
Downtown and Midtown are their own category: storefronts, patios and sidewalks that need cleaning on a short cycle because they take foot traffic all day and sit right against the street.
What Reno weather does to a building
The valley is high desert at about four and a half thousand feet, which means intense sun, wide temperature swings and very little rain to wash anything off. Dust settles and stays. Hard water from sprinklers leaves mineral spotting on windows, siding and stucco. Winter brings road treatment that rides home on tires and dries to a chalky film on driveways and lower panels.
Then there is smoke season. Ash from regional wildfires settles on roofs, gutters, windows and solar panels, and it does not simply rinse off with the first storm.
None of this is dramatic damage on its own. It is cumulative, which is why an annual or twice yearly wash keeps a property looking maintained rather than weathered.
