Pressure washing at Lake Tahoe
Tahoe properties have a shorter season and a longer list. Snow, pine litter and sap do things to a cabin that a house down in the valley never deals with.
What the basin does to a building
Cabins and lake houses are usually wood or engineered siding with big decks, and they spend months under snow. When it melts, what is left behind is a combination of pine needles packed into the gutters, sap spotting on the deck and railings, dark organic growth on the shaded elevations, and grit thrown up along the lower walls from plowing and sanding.
Metal roofs shed snow well but still hold needle litter in the valleys. Shake and composition roofs hold moisture in the shade, which is where moss and lichen take hold.
Altitude adds intensity. The sun is stronger above six thousand feet, so unprotected wood greys faster and any coating breaks down sooner.
Vacation rentals and seasonal turnovers
A rental that photographs well books better, and exterior condition is the first thing a guest sees on arrival. We clean decks, railings, entries, hot tub surrounds and glass ahead of the season, and we can time work between bookings when we know the calendar in advance.
For second homes, we do the same work while you are away and send photos when it is finished, so the house is ready when you next drive up.
Most requested services at the lake
- Deck, railing and stair cleaning, often before staining
- Roof cleaning and gutter clearing after the snow is off
- House washing for wood and engineered siding
- Window cleaning with purified water
- Ash and soot removal after wildfire smoke settles in the basin
We serve Incline Village and Crystal Bay on the Nevada side and the California shore as well. Scheduling at the lake depends on access and conditions, so the season runs roughly from late spring once roads and driveways are clear, through fall before the first storms.
Questions we hear a lot
Do you serve the California side of the lake?
Yes. We cover the Tahoe basin, including Incline Village and Crystal Bay on the Nevada side and the California shore.
When is the best time to book Tahoe work?
Late spring through early fall. Once snow is off and driveways are clear we can get equipment to the property safely.
Can you clean a property while we are not there?
Yes. Many lake properties are second homes or rentals. We work unattended with access arranged in advance and can send photos when we finish.
